[It's been a long day for Miyabi. Stuck in her wolf form for the past week and a half, she'd spent most of the first few days just getting used to her new body. Now, however, she's fully accustom to her wolf form and just finishing up a training session at the barracks with her sword - which she found out can be manipulated and swung around by her mind. How convenient!

She exits the barracks, her panting making little puffs in the cold air. But there's no time to dawdle now! She's been finding child versions of many of her friends, and she's been making it her routine to not only visit them, but to patrol the village in case another small child appears, seemingly lost, out in the cold and snow.

So, anyone is free to see a small strangely colored wolf zipping about the village. She's making various stops at houses 5 and 6 to visit Luke and Asch as well as Nami and Sanji next door (SO CONVENIENT). So inhabitants of those two houses, expect a furry face peering through your window. She'll also be bounding to the Community House where Vash lived, in hopes of seeing him as well.

Of course, running all that way is tiring even for a wolf, so Miyabi will be taking little breaks here and there to rest.

She is very open to receiving both pettings, belly rubbies, and food from those she meets along the way as well. Failure to meet her demands will result in The Look. You know the one. Ammy taught her well.]

[Backdated to after her conversation with Kushi]

[It wasn't true. It wasn't true--it wasn't! Ammy wasn't gone; Miyabi wouldn't accept it. So after she stormed off after yelling at poor Kushi (she'll apologize later), the girl ran through the entirety of Luceti, searching for the wolf until her lungs burst or legs gave out. The forest, village, anywhere she thought Ammy would be.

Nothing. Not even a yip.

It took her hours to face the truth that her goddess was no longer in Luceti with her. Ammy was gone. The Malnosso took her away for good this time. It...It was better that way, right? She could find that little Oina girl and save Kamui before the Day of Darkness, right? Then why...why did she feel so empty? So cold? So lonely? ...How long was she gone? How long did Miyabi not know?!

Did it matter now?

She was gone.

It was late in the afternoon now, before the girl opened up her journal and gripped her little brush tightly, to keep her hand from shaking too much. She should tell those who knew Amaterasu. People had to know. They had a right to know. A drop of ink falls from her brush before she writes one word:]

Amate--

[Before the word's even complete, the page is ripped forcefully from the journal. She tries again, but the same thing happens. Her hand shakes, ink smears on the paper, and it's ripped away. The next page comes just because it feels good. And the next. And the next. And the next after that.

Finally, she stops, but large, wet spots appear on the journal as she steels herself, grabbing her brush tightly, gathers her paints, and turns on the audio. Her voice is soft, and shallow - more like a croak - as she speaks a little song. It's barely audible at first, so listen closely...]

Cut for length and image (and emo) )

--[Action]--

[Miyabi won't answer hails over her journal. In fact, it's remaining shut for the length of the day. Maybe longer, until she calms down completely. If those who are willing would go looking for her, she'll be under the "usual Sakura tree" which, with the power of Bloom and a bit of Filial Magic, is thriving - pink and lush, despite the chill in the air.

A little golden light is laying on the grass near some of the large roots, where an indent still remains. It was cold, but the bright Sun above, shining dutifully, warms the little poncle's face as she cries quietly to herself. She's going to have to tell Salt she won't be coming back to the house anymore... This tree was now not only a symbol of home, and of the wood sprite she didn't know of, but of Ammy herself.

And like she promised to make people believe in the goddess, Miyabi makes a promise to herself, under the watchful eye of the shining Sun, that she'll protect the tree for Amaterasu as well.]

[OOC: Just to specify here, Miya is NOT answering voice comments! If you want to talk to her, you more or less have to find her under Ammy's cherry tree. So, though this is a voice post, it's just her venting and telling people, in her own way, that Amaterasu's gone home.

That is all. |Db

Also! If you wanna hear the actual song she's singing, it's called Reset, off the official Okami OST, and can be found here. ♥]

[You know, it's usually a bad idea to fall asleep outside.

Even worse if it's fall, and pretty cold.

Even worse still if there's a very bizarre experiment going on.

Thankfully, Miyabi had burrowed under a bit of leaves near the river beside the Item Shop to stay warm during the night. Plus, she was hearty and used to living in subzero temperatures for all of her life. A bit of a chill wouldn't give her more than a sniffle, remedied by a bit of tea and blankets. This afternoon, however, she's laying asleep in the same spot, only she's bigger, and very much in costume.

You see, the Malnosso must have thought it'd be utterly hilarious to not only make the girl larger, but to dress her up in the same dress worn by kidnapped persons and New Feathers, only ripped and torn around the ends. Her skin was completely painted white-grey, to give her a more ghostly feel, and to top it off, red paint was splattered all over her neck and down the front of the dress, to resemble her having had her throat cut.

Plus, she's asleep in plain sight, looking very much like she's been killed.

Have fun with that, Luceti! ♥]

[Today was a good day.

It was moderately sunny, not too cold, and the wind was just right. So, Miyabi was bouncing her way toward the plaza happily, singing a little song in Japanese to herself. She had just finished a fresh batch of paintings and was going to spread them around the plaza for people to see.

And this time, she was truly proud of her work. With the change of the seasons, Miyabi felt it'd be a good idea to honor the gods of flora before the winter months crept in. The portrait was of the Hanagami, the triumvirate monkey gods that ruled over the earth itself. The picture was truly stunning to look at, and perhaps the poncle's best work to date. Furthermore, she had finally, finally, achieved her goal of inducing strong emotions through her art. The portrait, as well as looking beautiful, also made the looker earn a sense of soft tranquility. A peace of the mind, and a revival of the spirit.

She'd never been able to do this before.

So, leaping her way across one of the many bridges, Miyabi was feeling pretty cheerful, even carrying a heavy scroll above her head that had her paintings in it. However, the poncle was also blissfully unaware that she was being pursued. Bouncing along behind her was a small, white, glowing mallet, that would duck any into a bush or behind a rock whenever she stopped to turn around. When the poncle stopped for a break on the railing of the bridge, catching the light breeze, that's when it struck.

WHAM!]

YAAAAAAH!!

[The resounding splash was large and vibrant at the ponclet - now human sized - fell off the railing and right onto the water. The Lucky Mallet bounded towards the shore, hopping up and down in place as if it were pleased with itself. Another wish fulfilled!

That is, until the ponclet broke the surface of the water, her butterfly cap sagging over her eyes and dripping water. She picked up the wet scroll as it floated by pulling it out of the water and looking down at it with a horrified expression.

The paint and ink was running off the sturdy parchment in thick, globby lines. Her work, that she spent so much time on, and was actually so very proud of, was no more. She just stood there for a moment, mortified, before she hunched up her shoulders, gripped the paper tightly in her fingers, and leered over the paper towards the Lucky Mallet, which stopped bouncing immediately.]

You...

[She couldn't get in another word. As soon as that one was spoke, the poor little mallet, fearing for its life, bounded away. with the girl screeching and chasing after it, sword raised high above her head. Villagers in the nearby vicinity may hear and see a loud explosion - or three - and a tall waterspout from the river. If they decide to investigate, they'll see a very wet, very angry looking young girl, sitting on...something tightly woven in a large, wet scroll. Her sword was stuck in the ground beside her as she wrung out her hair, cap, and dress, snarling viciously.]

That's the last straw!! You're not gonna go running off anymore from now on, you stupid mallet! You hear me?! Starting today, right now, you're listening to me. If I wanna get big or small, you're gonna do it, or I'll practice my other Skills on you.

Nyeh...now where am I gonna keep you? Mm, I could always just bury you, if you don't behave.

[The confined mallet wriggled in protest, but didn't go anywhere, especially when Miyabi prodded it roughly with the point of her sword.]

[OOC: Just a little note! Basically, Miya's just caught the Lucky Mallet, so it's not running around Luceti anymore, since that's awkward and leaves too many open doors, blablabla. She'll be keeping it, and will use it very sparingly to get bigger sometimes, since having her larger all the time is lame and no fun on my part.

Also got mod permission for this. |Db]
inkdrops: (Ttly better than melons.)
[Miyabi didn't have much to apologize for, like any of the rest of people. For the most part, she acted the same, despite how she had aged and changed. Even so, the poncle didn't know how to feel about the change. She...had been an Envoy. A real Celestial Envoy, just like she wanted. And even the Chieftess of Ponc'Tan to boot!

Yet, she had also hid things away from people. She had been accepted the Dark Lord, Yami. She had been his Envoy, and though she seemed happy before...it was confusing. She had always thought things different. The darkness consumes the lands and is the root of evil; it must be eradicated. Yet what she learned was so different.

Balance. Light and Dark together, coexisting. They support eachother, and provide the world its very support. One cannot exist without the absence of the other. Nothing can exist without the absence of Light or Dark. It was easy to understand, really.

And then there was her painting. She had advanced so much! And she had been happy at first, to learn that she had improved that far in the future. But was that really what was going to happen? Was that really her future? Or just something else the Malnosso fabricated for their sick experiments? Miyabi didn't know, and it was really taking its toll on her mind and emotions. She didn't know what to feel.

Miyabi was still large, though she was making it her duty to not stick out. She didn't want to talk to anyone right now. So, she decided not to go to the forest like she usually would. Instead, she was sitting at Good Spirits Bar.

Her hair, which had lengthened during her stay in Luceti, was pulled back and tied into a loose bun and her clothes were a bit darker than what she usually wore. She was leaning on the table she sat at, with a bit of sake, and looking at a painting she drew when she was older. It was lovely...but would she ever really get this good?

Sighing, Miyabi will then roll up the painting and go look for the Lucky Mallet to make her smaller again. It would be easier to hide out that way. The thing shouldn't be too hard to find, even if it did have a mind of its own. And it usually hung around the forest and plains. Or at least that's where she always was when she got smacked by it.

She's not really paying attention to anything or anyone in either location, so feel free to spot her or run into her. The poor thing really could use some company, though she thinks otherwise.]
inkdrops: ([AU] - abffch--whut?)
[It's no secret Miyabi has been with Ammy for the past few days, whether helping repair houses and streets, or when the sun disappeared and left Ammy extremely weak. Miyabi had stayed by her side, resting with the wolf by the cherry trees on the hill.

The poncle was asleep, having taken shelter under a large, thick root of the tree. A bit moss served as a nice, dry, comfy bed. She had no idea of the changes that had happened to her due to the odd shift in reality. However, since Miyabi was asleep, she was also unaware that a certain Mallet had...either miraculously never been captured by the Malnosso before, or simply reappeared and was hopping deviously in place where she slept.

It swayed back and forth once, twice and--

WHAM!]

OOOW!! What's the big idea?! You--! Oh, the Lucky Mallet... You know, it's getting really bothersome to have a throbbing headache when I have to get bigger. Even so, I suppose I should thank y--

...

. . .

Well, this is a predicament.

[Miyabi spots her open journal and glares fire at it, but picks up the thing, careful not to show off more than necessary. Seems Luceti wasn't kind enough to grace her with clothes that actually fit her new, older body, so the poncle woman was, well...straining against her usual yellow sundress. And getting rained on. 8| Fuck you too, Luceti.]

Nami--or wait, hm...Kushi? One of you. Could you please come to Amaterasu's sakura on the hill? B-Bring an extra set of...clothes. Please.

[A pause. Then, sternly.] Amaterasu, check in.

[OOC: AU info can be found here. And, sine I REFUSE to draw icons for all of Older!Miya's expressions, this is basically what she looks like.]
inkdrops: (You're HORRIBLE!)
[She should have known something was wrong. She should have known Luceti would be cruel. She should have known this wasn't the end, and the worst thing to happen would be her worst fear. But you just don't know what will happen in this place, or any for that matter. Fate deals a cruel hand, and one must live with what they are dealt.

Even as Miyabi and Amaterasu continue doing their best to repair houses and small buildings despite their exhaustion, Miyabi can't help but feel something wasn't right. Ammy was getting tired a lot faster, and her Celestial Ink wasn't returning as quickly, either. Those should have been the first warning signs, but she was too preoccupied with helping others to notice something very bad was happening.

It's only when the sky darkens, and Amaterasu staggers, that Miyabi blinks and looks up...to see the shadow beginning to slowly cover the sun.

Both her sword and journal fall from her trembling hands, the latter opening and clicking on to catch her terrified voice.]

No. Th-The Day of Darkness...
Amaterasu?! [A faint whine records itself over the poncle's journal before something large and heavy hits the ground.] AMMY! AMMY, WH-WHAT'S HAPPENING?!

[Her markings were gone. Her Divine Mirror was gone. Her holy presence, all gone. There was only the form of a white wolf laying on her side on the streets of the village, panting raggedly with a small yellow light hopping frantically around it. Miya was sobbing, and silently praying to all thirteen gods that her precious friend, goddess, and Mother Sun would shine once again.

She had to believe. Especially now.]

[OOC: More or less a placeholder since I'm exhausted from the busy weekend I had, and I need sleep. I may poke a few tags, but don't expect me to hop right to it with gusto. Also, [livejournal.com profile] divinepooch will be hitting up tags as well, since the two are together and all.

EDIT: Yeah, I should probably remember to change my screening options, huh? orz]
inkdrops: (Whisper to me.)
[After the events with Lilynette, Miyabi had been recovering from basically having her soul forcibly removed and put back in. It was...definitely a strange and terrifying experience. One that taught here two things.

One, trust can be so easily broken. And two...she needs to get stronger. She only completely knows two offensive Brush Skills. If she wanted to really be of any use to people, and protect her friends, then she had to learn more and refine the ones she already knew.

So, with a heavy heart, Miyabi had decided to take a little "vacation" from the village and head to the mountains to practice. She doesn't take an animal this time, and instead makes the journey herself, bouncing through the deeper sections of the forest. All was going well so far. She even brought a large - for her at least - pack of supplies.

Of course, there's always something that comes along when one's mind is clouded. Miyabi's pack tears open when it snags on a thorny bush, her journal tumbling out and falling face down on the ground, the audio triggering with the sudden jolt.]

Oh, for--! Bah, look at this mess... [There's a few sounds of shuffling and things being picked up, then silence and the sound of quick movement.] ...Who's there? Eh, you're not being very quiet, you know. I can hear you.

[But the sound doesn't feel like a person. In fact, it seemed more like two forces, one soft and timid, the other fierce and almost authoritative, weaving together quickly. And Miyabi knows exactly what those two forces are - she lives in a world filled with them, after all.]

Aah, if you two keep chattering like that, I won't be able to hear a thing you're both trying to say...

[OOC: Placeholder...ish until tomorrow. I might be able to poke a few tags, but I'm really busy right now, sorry.]
inkdrops: (Little golden light)
[In the forest, plopped on the top of a mushroom, is a small, glowing, sparkling ball of light. Yes, it's Miyabi, and she is indeed back from her kidnapping at last, sitting on her rump and feeling pretty groggy. It seems the Malnosso didn't factor in how the painkillers would affect her system once the little poncle was shrunk down to her original size again.

She mutters something unintelligible, a garble of words due to feeling rather loopy and way too happy to have just been kidnapped. Still, the word "paint" is in there somewhere, to those that understood it. Miyabi does indeed paint. On...her journal. Of course. Her drawings, however, look much, much more sloppy than usual, like a child drew them instead of a decent enough artist.

Miyabi starts by drawing her friends. With...flowers on their heads. Why? We don't know, but the drugs might have something to do with it. First up is Ammy, obviously, with a big, bright sunflower on her head. Next is Kushi, with a daisy, followed by Sanji, who has a daffodil, Nami, with a tiger lily, Peony with a bright, pink peony - how original - then Asch, who sports a lovely cactus. Raven is next, with a beautiful black orchid, then Vash...with a dandelion.

Upon drawing him, Miyabi sways a little as the drugs in her system make her vision swirl before her eyes. Vash's mouth suddenly runs into a downward squiggle off her journal quite suddenly, and the soft thump! of a tiny body hitting the top of a mushroom is heard.]

Aah...so pretty! It's the River of the Heavens... Nyeh, I wonder if everyone can see it~? [A pause, as an odd sound, much unlike any ever heard in Luceti, echoes over the journal to those that can also hear it.] ...Hello, fireflies. You're really pretty, too... Would you like to hear a song? Me...and Mono...and Kunu sing it. Back home. ...Ready? Okay.

[And she begins to sing. As the "fireflies" sway closer.]
inkdrops: (It's a secret~)
Aaah...this heat! This is nothing like Kamui or Ponc'Tan at all...I'm going to melt!!

[After a busy week of dodging tree spikes, killing butterflies, and just generally making sure her friends were okay, Miyabi finally has a chance to go out into the hopefully safe plaza and do some extreme shopping. The now 4'10" young painter had been bustling around to get clothes, food, and some art supplies for herself. All carried around in large, heavy bags. Right now, she's at the fountain, putting her feet in the cool water and splashing some on her face.

After a while of just relaxing and catching her breath, Miyabi opens her journal, remembering something she wanted to do a while back. Maybe now she that she was big, she could actually do it.]

Hello? Hehe, uhm...is there anyone who knows how to play the flute here that can teach me? I've been wanting to learn an instrument, and I know a few songs I'd love to play that are played on the flute back home. If anyone could be so kind as to teach me, I'd be very, very grateful! Thank you in advance.

...Oh, yes! My name is Miyabi for those who don't know.

[She sighs, and closes her journal thereafter, heading next for the item shop. Maybe they sold a good bamboo flute there that she could use, and a fan or parasol for the sun. She couldn't learn anything without having the proper tools, right?

Anyone around the area, please feel free to catch her out and about, lugging her bags around and generally complaining about how darn hot it is. She's used to subzero temperatures and warm, gentle spring weather, not blazing heatwaves.]

[OOC: I'm going out for a few hours. I'll probably be back later tonight to answer tags. Until then! |Db]
inkdrops: (Down here idiot.)
[It's a windy day out today, but even that does not deter Luceti's tiniest resident from doing what she loves. Miyabi's not too far into the forest this time, more close to the rivers, and is struggling with the wind to keep her parchment in one place, and to not splatter ink over her paintings. Needless to say, her journal has been blown open by the wind, and is catching her conversations.]

Oi, oi, Kazegami! I'll paint you next if you keep this up, but I need to practice on the others, too. Bah, so pushy...

[There's a bit more silence for a few minutes, only interrupted by the painter's little complaints to the wind, before a soft rustle and thump thump is heard behind her. The journal catches a little clatter and a sound like a sword being drawn. Can't be too damn careful around these parts. Plus, with all the things that have been happening, she's a little jumpy. However, only silence persists on Miyabi's part as the thumping continues, almost excitedly.]

What in the world...? A mal--hey! H-Hey, wait a minute, what are you...! Don't come closer, I'm warning you!! Eeek!

[THUD. And a high pitched yelp coupled with a splatter of red echos over the journal, and silence reigns over the journal.]

[OOC: I got mod permission from Eggy for this a while back. Basically, Miyabi's going to get bigger for about two weeks via the Lucky Mallet - an item in her world that usually shrinks things. But based in the original story of Issun-Boshi, the Lucky Mallet actually makes things bigger! Plus, a mallet has two sides, right? Right. So, yeah. There you have it. :|b tl;dr, I know, but I needed to explain myself for this.]
inkdrops: (Uwaaah! ;O;)
[What a wonderful day to be dumped back from her mallynapping. Truly a glorious day indeed. Right in the middle of a blasted thunderstorm. It's better than a blizzard, but it's still not the most awesome of circumstances to be in. And definitely not one Miyabi wanted to be in, to be honest.

She was drenched, huddled up on someone's windowsill after a particularly loud crash of thunder woke her up. All in all, the tiny painter looked all right, but she felt terrible. Miyabi's energy was low, and her usual bright, golden aura reflected that. It was dim, even in the darkness of the storm, and the cold and wetness from the rain was not helping her feel any better. She didn't know how long she had been out in the storm, but she knew she was already developing a cold or fever.

Shivering, Miyabi curled up on herself, holding her legs and sniffling. Her vision faded in and out before before the ponclet just closed her eyes and leaned her forehead on her knees, coughing softly. She doesn't have the energy to move from her corner, or tap on the glass of the window, lest she would have done so already. She was tired, and sore, and already getting sick. All she wanted to do was warm up, dry off, and just sleep.

Anyone passing by their window, or out and about for whatever reason, please feel free to notice a tiny golden light - which resembles a firefly, kind of - huddled up on your, or someone's else's, windowsill, looking rather forlorn and helpless. Please be a dear and help her out, she'll be really grateful.]
inkdrops: (Whisper to me.)
[Miyabi had been out in the forest, simply practicing a bit of delicate calligraphy more to calm herself than anything else. A form of meditation, perhaps – she really did need to kind of clear her mind sometimes, over various things. The journal records a slow, careful intake of breath and the curve of ink on paper, before it blots suddenly and a shuffling is caught off in the distance.

A sigh, and then a sentence appears in her journal before it is closed.]

If someone could please take care of my sword for me, it will be in the forest, close to the river. Thank you.
inkdrops: (Cherry Blossom Storm)
[How long had it been? Too long. Too long since Miyabi had started her project for her pirate friends to cheer them up in their unending bouts of crisis. Of course, now that she was finished with everything, all of the Straw Hats are accounted for, and there weren't any outside delays, Miyabi had Sanji's--ah, dilemma to deal with. She didn't want to wait any longer, though. She also thought it unfair to leave him out of the gift as well, seeing as how all the others would be receiving theirs. Of course, he'll get something extra.

So, Miyabi creeps up to the Straw Hat house and uses the gaping hole in Usopp's room - which she proceeded to gawk at when she was awakened, and sobered up enough, from her outing with Nami after the previous experiment. Honestly, why is she even surprised? Regardless, it made for a great way to get everything inside~! She made absolutely sure no one was home - using her ultra super poncle stealth - before setting up everything on the pirates' massive table. The gifts are as follows:

For the Straw Hats )

She isn't done yet, though! Miyabi's next stop in the home of one broom-headed big brother. Good thing she made a very speedy sparrow friend here, who didn't need to be bribed with seeds to fly her places. The trips would be much faster this way. Again, Miyabi makes absolutely sure Vash isn't home before squeezing her way inside his apartment under the crack of the door. Being small can sure as hell come in handy sometimes.

For Vash )

And finally, as she sits atop Ammy's tree, a light wind blowing her journal open without her noticing, Miyabi sighs. There's a definite smile in her voice as she speaks, chuckling softly.]

Hehe, I think we could all do with a little Sunshine...

[And in a few minute's time, the residents of Luceti may see an uncountable number of papers wafting through the air, caught on the breeze. Most of them already litter the ground, and anyone who picks them up might see a painting of a more or less familiar white wolf.]

[OOC: And just to specify, yes, that is my own art up there. D: Please do not take it without letting me know, thank you. And I know the anatomy is off, I had no reference and wolves are HARD to draw while running. orz And I know Zoro!mun just dropped, but to keep this IC, he's included here. And sorry Robin, Miyabi didn't know you existed yet, so...yeah. Please don't hate her for not including you. ;A;]
inkdrops: (Not tiny. .__.)
[The journal flicks open from a particularly strong gust of wind, pages fluttering and catching the soft sounds of rustling leaves, the twittering of birds, and an all around happy forest. The small camera, peeking through the leaves of a high tree, shows the clouds rolling by overhead. White puffy clouds, how cute~

Of course, that loud groan from off to the side breaks apart the showcase of tranquility and peace. And the voice that accompanies it does as well. Miyabi is not a happy camper right now. In fact, she's downright livid from that experiment that just passed. She already sliced up a few falling leaves to take her mind ff it, but even that was not enough.]

...I wonder if a fall from this height would be enough to kill me. Ugh...I-I think I'm gonna throw up.
inkdrops: (Looking up at the Night's Sky)
[The journal's camera shows off the sky, and one side of a colorful butterfly wing, with yellow, black, and red and blue patterns adorning it. A few stray, pink petals scatter into view as well. After a second, a light sigh is heard as Miyabi finally speaks, moving a few things around. It doesn't sound like her usual tinkle of inkpots, though...]

Everything should be done in a few more days... How am I gonna get it all inside, though? ...Mm, maybe I can ask that little mouse to open the door or window or something.

Bah, it took forever, but it's almost done. I hope they all like it~ ♥

[No, she has no idea the journal is recording. She's around Ammy's tree - perhaps her favorite place in Luceti - and looking up at the tiny buds already appearing on the tree, smiling. She couldn't wait to help the tree bloom, or at least see if when the blossoms opened up. It'd be so pretty. Spring was her favorite season, after all.]

[OOC: Yes, Miyabi is event'd and taken! Please wait until her "partner" comments before making your own. If you think you're not her partner, you probably aren't. 8)b]
inkdrops: (I think the hat is cute okay? :c)
[There's a small, dimly glowing light situated on the counter top of House #2. The light dims a little bit more and glows brightly again soon after. It makes an odd, soft groaning sound as little Miyabi rolls over onto her stomach. Following her encounter with Aku and Yuber - and a rather one sided fight with Stitch as her partner - the little Ponclet had been rescued while unconscious for a few days. She'd unleashed a powerful Brush Skill that left her exhausted.

Plus, sleeping on her singed wings didn't help her over aching body much, either. She was fine, just a bit sore and groggy. As she looked around after rubbing her eyes, she still felt rather dizzy. Miyabi didn't really know her journal had followed her like always, sigh was open a little bit away to catch her tired sounding voice.]

N-Nyeh...wh-where am I? Ow, maybe I shouldn't move around so much. Stitch? A-Are you here, too? Are you okay?

[She looks around weakly, then back at her wings and flaps them once, squeezing one eye shut at the pains of pain. Miyabi sighs, and flops onto her belly, closing her eyes again and looking fatigued and defeated. What she wouldn't give for a nice, hot bath or a cup of tea to relax her stiff muscles... And maybe a meal, too, her stomach just grumbled.]

This doesn't looks like any houses I've been in before. ...It's really messy. [If she weren't a bit sore, Miyabi might have begun cleaning up the place a little.]

[OOC: I actually have to meet up with my college buddies in a half hour or so to grab dinner and work on a project together, so this is a kindasorta placeholder. I might tag here and there as I'll have access to a computer and net, but it'll be sparingly.]
inkdrops: (Hooray!!)
[Well, seeing as how her conquest of Luceti as the village's greatest scientific genius was a complete and total flop, Miyabi has taken a new route in her career choice. Anyone wandering around the fountain will see that the little sprite has made what looks like a little stage, complete with some makeshift spotlights - made from just reflecting light from a lantern via mirrors - that project her shadow on the flowing water and make her actually look normal size! Such a clever girl~

Strung on two wooden poles over the teeny stage is a banner, delicately painted with many butterflies and flower petals. In beautiful, slanted writing reads:

Little Butterfly: LIVE IN LUCETI!

The girl is dressed in more modern clothing as well; a sleeveless hoody, a wool beanie with a butterfly pin near the rim by her left eye, a white three-quarter sleeve shirt with the kanji for "heaven" on the breast, and a dark plaid skirt with some leggings and boots that set the whole outfit together. So stylish! But what do you expect? Miyabi has now become a world famous...

Japanese Pop Singer~ ♥

So sit back or come watch her slide and twirl gracefully and adorably along the little stage she made, singing happily for you all. And don't worry, this is something Miyabi may actually be quite good at, as she sings almost every time she paints. She has a good voice. Her journal lays open by one of the "spotlights" catching her in its little camera.]

Everyone! For the bad or rude things I have said and done to you in the past...I am truly very sorry! [She bows deeply, hair falling over her shoulders, then fluttering back as she lifts herself up again.] But! I promise I will make it up to you!! With love and determination, I will sing a song that the gods themselves will hear! I cup my hands together in the hopes that the anger in your hearts will vanish. I pray that my voice will melt away the darkness and let Love Shine!

Are we having fun~?!

[And she will begin to sing and dance. Have fun everyone, and do join in!]

SIMPLETONS!

I, the genius scientist, Miyabi, am in need of your assistance! Though I don't expect much from you mindless ogres, it has come to my attention that there are a few of you who have lost more of their mental capacity than regularly thought. In the end, it makes it all the easier to rule you spineless ninnies, but I digress. Uhuhuhu...

What I need, nigh, what I demand from you all is to deliver me the finest quality of uranium you can find! DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS! Chop, chop, minions~ My brilliant experiments cannot wai--neh?

...

[There's a loud, growing hissing sound off in the background, and a startled yelp as something explodes. Anyone passing by Salt and Miya's house may notice thick, black smoke issuing from Miyabi's open window, and a black painter-turned-mad-scientist plopping out from it, coughing and covered in soot.]

B-Bah! I-It shouldn't have had that reaction! O-Or...did I mix up sodium sulfate with sodium chloride again?
inkdrops: (Okay here I go!)
[It's close to sunset, and the sun is hanging low in the sky, coloring everything with a soft, golden-red color. Deep within the forest, a little sprite had been working all morning up until this point. There's some rolled up parchment around her, which she's picking up right now, as well as a few pots of ink and scrolls. Miyabi's glow is a bit of a brighter yellow than usual, and she's humming softly to herself, looking accomplished.]

Eh...took me a while, but they're done. Nyeh, they sure were hard to get right... Hm, I need to paint that other thing, though, but flowers are easy to paint~! Okay, everything seems to be good, just a little bit more.

It all should be done in a few days. Hee! I didn't think I'd ever get it done!

[Miyabi hops up and down a few times, then draws her sword. She had one more thing to do. After talking, and getting some new info, she's found out something else she needs to work on. And what better place to do that than the forest? The little ponclet holds out the brush tip of her blade and jumps, swishing the brush and painting the ground with a large blot of black ink, uttering a loud HA!

The ink glows a pale green light, then out pops a sapling, leaves and young branches swaying delicately in the breeze. ...Miyabi doesn't seem pleased and tries again. Poof! Another sapling. And another. ...And again. Over and over, Miyabi paints tiny, young trees in the area around her, but she doesn't look happy. In fact, she seems a bit frustrated.]

Bah! Come on, just once! Just one tree! It doesn't have to be big...just--It won't be the same.

[OOC: This is a bit of a placeholder until I get home from classes in a few hours. I was lucky enough to get a half hour between classes to throw this up. :I Also, today's my sister's birthday, so we might be going out and getting hammered tonight, too. Not sure exactly, but we'll see. .o\]
